Terminator: Dark Fate Set to Become Even More Political and SJW

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s feud with Donald J Trump may well be coming to the big screen as the evidence keeps mounting that Terminator (2019) AKA Terminator 6; has a political agenda. It looks like those people accusing the new Terminator movie of being SJW (Social Justice Warrior) will feel even more valid in their argument now as ICE Officers will be in the movie and so will an immigration camp.

If the movie does have an underlying political agenda or social commentary- then just how subtle can they be about it? People are so wise to this kind of move now, that even being subtle doesn’t really work.

They are not immigration camps they are full on CONCENTRATION CAMPS. Innocent children on concrete floors surrounded by a cage. And ICE?

It seems like the people running this site are the ones running a political message.

Listen and understand Jason, we are trying to remain politically impartial. Our political views do not have any bearing on the franchise. We are reporting on the facts and we leave the dialogue open for fans like yourselves to offer your opinion. We can’t win either way but remember we are not making the movie.

*Immigration camp was how the people who worked on the movie labelled it (not us)

Firstly I would like to say I think thetermintorfans.com does an amazing job, and I can totally appreciate they need to remain impartial regarding some of these matters (after all they are running a terminator site lol). That aside, I have to say it’s very disappointing to see more and more confirmation that the new film really does seem to be headed in the direction of political agenda. It’s heartbreaking because this is almost like a disease now in Hollywood, politics first and story and characters second. This is NOT the right approach, especially after the last 3 terminator films were very mediocre. A 4th mediocre Terminator film would surely kill this franchise for good. I’m just baffled by all this, after the backlash form the last jedi ect, you would have thought that Hollywood would be starting to realise that no, people will not eat up anything you throw at them. What the heck is going on with these Hollywood execs and what the hell are they thinking lol? It’s really simple, do you want your film to make money or not? If the answer is yes, leave politics out of it and get on with just making a good movie.

If this is true, I am not at all surprised. Take a look at the Twitter feed of the guy who wrote the script, Billie Ray.

I hate politics, both left and right, whatever. I don’t care what side of the spectrum you fall under, but political virtue signaling does not belong in a Terminator film. Can’t we just enjoy a movie without some political talking points being thrown into the mix?

Granted T2 went a little borderline with the preaching, but as someone who is a huge fan of T1, I’m begging the filmmakers: please for the love of God, keep politics out of the Terminator mythology!

Concentration camps and immigration camps nothing to see are two different things more is not the first information of the film about politics and in principle that of Donald Trump and his wall!
Check your sources elsewhere than on a fan site!

TheTerminatorFans.com… Relax, why are you worrying over nothing? This is obviously a very important part of the story and if this Young Mexican girl needs to somehow get in to America then she will obviously need to get through the border. This border has been there well before Donald trump.
My guess is that This “grace” is John Connors daughter from the future who managed to break free from skynet camp after been almost skinned alive by skynet in some sort of assassin attempt on John( or at this point John could be dead). My guess is that the TDE is very limited to power and uses so much juice that it takes ten years to full chargenplus when powered up it soaks alot of the main power from skynets core. because electricity is very limited, skynet has to decide whether it will use this last blast of power on continuing to fight a now winning war or use the TDE for one last strike at the Connor’s. My guess is that John dies in the future and his daughter comes back and hooks up with Sarah Connor that is Revealed to be her future grandmother. With Ramos too been the one thing I can’t put my finger on…
Arnold is another one, I’m not sure about the T800’s involvement in this and this means that there is a strong chance that he could be a Hunter or possibly a protector again but this time for John’s Daughter Grace. I think that in the future John obsesses over the reprogramming of a T800 and it costs him his life but the regrammed terminator was activated and has served as a protector for grace and somehow came back with her through the TDE.
Getting into the States must be really important for them… Maybe to get to John?
Find him before the T15-00 does.

Sounds like a possible nuclear fall out scenario and people crossing the borders etc etc and amidst the chaos you have got to have some kind of “order”.

I know that it displeases some but when you are a fan of this franchise and the more we advance in this cult saga more we understand avatanges where the film crew and production are coming! I think we should not be as dubious and critical when we know that it is a reality and that we can probably live the same thing in the future! Moreover they know what they do by putting the politics in it is also to convey a message on our current world that divide men and women as well as peoples. The war will not be solved as long as there are these super calculators everywhere on the planet as in a sci-fi movie but in a matrix that is a reality but that some do not want to admit or hear. We are more in Matrix or Terminator !!!! Vive Terminator 6 and congratulations to the team !!!

I am not from US. I dont care about Trump or another US problems. The world is still spinning even without US, China or Russians (The world can negotiate agreements without this states and benefit from it). For me, its a movie that im not interested in now… I want the Terminator, but Skydances in production discourages me, because last Terminator was really bad and Altered Carbon was bad too (its nice series, but if you read a book and compare it, it was really bad – for example key scene for character developing – when he was tortured on clinic and later he return for revenge… in tv series it was only cheap explosion and short scene). And when I look at the last MI – movie where character jumps 20 meters and crashes wall with hands… I dont trust them.

We are taking a lot of leaps here. its like seeing a set photo at a mcdonalds and assuming that the film is gonna be about burgers. lets just let things develop before trashing the movie.

Initially I cringed at the idea that the makers of this film are cramming political agendas down the viewer’s throat. However, I’m going to reserve my judgment until the movie comes out. This is it for the ‘Terminator’ – you either make a great film and move into the future, or this franchise is dead. I’m excited and hope they can make this right.

I guess it’s tough sh*t, when people get mad at a science fiction film to have an agenda. That is what especially sci-fi and horror are all about. Like it or not these movies always had “agendas” some subtle, some less subtle.
Why leave something that is obviously horrible open for interpretation? So that certain people can use ‘their’ interpretation to justify their sick view of the world? There are neo nazis out there who see themselves as the ‘Luke Skywalker’ of their little sad lives.

The first two Terminator movies where statements against militarism, nuclear weapons and for the idea of staying human in the face of a inhuman(e) enemy.
Cameron wrote and directed Aliens and Avatar. Both films are allegories on the Vietnam War. In both cases the arrogant jerks with the bigger guns lost. People who talk sh*t about political film nowadays, would have called all his movies ‘commi propaganda’ 30 years ago.

Some people shoud stop kidding themselves the into thinking that art is supposed to be a-political, just so they can go on being sh*tty, without getting confronted with what is really going on.
