DEBUNKED: Brad Fiedel is NOT BACK to score Dark Fate click here to find out more.
IMDb now lists Brad Fiedel as doing music for the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate. Is this Brad returning to do a full motion picture score, or are they just using his previous compositions- eg. the Terminator theme?

Previously Brad told TheTerminatorFans.com that he was not interested in returning for the “cue by cue” scoring of a Terminator movie but he also told TheTerminatorFans.com that:
“If Jim wanted my help I would be happy to be involved in some way to help conceive the musical approach and theme direction for a reboot”
– Brad Fiedel
So, Brad would be willing to return to oversee another composer on the project in the way that Hans Zimmer oversee’s musicians on motion scores. Maybe Brad has had a change of heart or maybe he’s been made an offer he just can’t refuse?
While we would love to get excited about this; we’re going to wait for an official announcement from the studios but we really hope this is true.
Thanks to Gershom Reese Wetzel and Mike Olivares for the tip off about IMDb.

HELL YEAH! PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE! BRAD IS A LEGEND AND HAVING HIM BACK WILL BRING A “LOT” TO THIS UPCOMING MOVIE, AND ALSO COULD QUITE POSSIBLY BE A GOOD OMEN…
Hopefully this is true!!
This would be absolutely fantastic. Even the limited involvement of Brad Fiedel would be a positive development, but if he directly creates a new and unique soundscape for “Terminator: Dark Fate,” it would be another promising element added to the upcoming movie along with James Cameron’s role and Linda Hamilton’s return. What I have so desperately missed in the previous three sequels has been the dark and tense atmospherics and ominous and foreboding mood that were so intrinsic to the first two Terminator films. While the scores for T3, Salvation and Genisys may have been technically sound and lush orchestra-based productions, the compostions fell flat for me and lacked the distinctive voice and personality of Fiedel’s work. His music gave “The Terminator” and “Judgment Day” their own sonic heartbeat and throbbing pulse. Please let this be true. I would rejoice. My optimism that “Dark Fate” will be a quality and worthy movie would spike tremendously.
J’espère vraiment qu’il sera là pour apporter dur surplus à ce nouveau Terminator car celui de Terminator Genysys Lorn baffle était pas terrible ù
