The following announcement by Stardust Silver is intended for our users located in the United States:
This limited edition, numbered, reverse proof, one ounce fine silver, commemorative coin for The Terminator looks worthy of the fans but also does justice to the first and most iconic Terminator movie.
Not only is this a special release to celebrate over 3 decades of Terminator,- it is also dedicated to the late John Daly, he was the Executive Producer of the first Terminator movie at production company Hemdale, like a Terminator himself he protected the integrity of the first movie and understood the vision and scope of what James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd had in mind. While Orion did distributing; Hemdale/John Daly was the person to believe in the script and to green-light the movie overall with co-funding from HBO and Orion Pictures (distribution). Under Daly, Hemdale made many films, all grossing over $1.5 billion.
We thank the real protector of the Terminator franchise and we will never forget the masterpiece that is 1984’s THE TERMINATOR.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – 31 years ago, “The Terminator ” opened in theaters and rocketed to No. 1 at the box office, as audiences journeyed to the year 2029 then back to the 80 ’s in the fight for the survival of the human race. Celebrating over 30 Years on the Silver Screen, “The Terminator ”, is newly released on .999 fine silver. The first in a planned series release from upstart Stardust Silver, is the Cyberdyne Systems T-800 One Ounce Silver Reverse Proof. In the Year of Darkness, 2029, the rulers of this planet devised the ultimate plan. They would reshape the Future by changing the Past. The plan required something that felt no pity. No pain. No fear. Something unstoppable. They created THE TERMINATOR.
Obverse: The Terminator’s Endoskeleton Skull is based off the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 Series T-800 was sent from the year in 2029 to Los Angeles in 1984 to kill Sarah Connor; the future mother of John Connor, who will one day become a savior against the AI (artificial intelligence ) in a post apocalyptic future. Behind the Skull depicts the carnage that follows this machine’s path.
The future war backdrop of LA featuring the Aerial/Flying HK (Hunter Killer Model) and burnt out car is very nice attention to detail. Both the Endoskeleton and HK are both authentic, as depicted in the first movie and still retain the original classic iconic machine designs created by James Cameron.
Reverse: The tagline that launched the franchise is shown at the top, along with “THE TERMINATOR”; an efficient killing machine with a powerful metal Endoskeleton, as depicted in the original Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 blueprints.
This product is for serious collectors! Expect a review in the near future and we will let you know what we think of this amazing and unique coin collectible. This will be the first of more coins and we can’t wait to see what Stardust Silver do next with the Terminator property.
