Much like the marketing of today; incentives/opportunities would be given to VHS Rental/Sale stores. If they sold enough copies of ‘Prime Target’ they would have the chance to own an authentic ‘The Terminator’ leather jacket! We wonder if any lucky store owners still have their mini-leather jacket keychains or Terminator jackets today…
This was definitely a very cool promo Hemdale Home Video did to help distribute movies and we are sure plenty of store owners hit the 40 unit sales mark on the movie Prime Target for a chance to own such a cool memento for one of the most cult movies of our time.
1984’s THE TERMINATOR is the truest form of Terminator film and still stands today as defining everything that a Terminator film should be!
