You may remember that we reported that the Japanese version of the Blu-Ray would have a box-set edition containing a figure/collectible and now it is revealed… an ENDOSKELETON ARM from the first T-800 (Schwarzenegger) which was sent back to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor!
Terminator 2 3D: Endo Arm 4K + Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + CD Boxset (2017)
First of all, this is the UK release. This beast of an edition contains 4 DISCS! The discs themselves contain stars Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor), Arnold Schwarzenegger (T-800) and Robert Patrick (The T-1000).
There looks to be 2 discs with Linda, one being the soundtrack by the Awesome Brad Fiedel and possibly the 4K UHD disc, while Arnold has the 3D Blu-Ray Disc and Robert Patrick has the 2D Disc. We think the discs have been handled well and… two Sarah Connor Discs? No complaints here, this also would make the soundtrack disc more of a collectible too as the current release has Arnold on the disc.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is coming to 4K. The sci-fi/action classic is getting a Limited Collector’s Edition EndoArm box set, including a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital HD), on October 3 from Lionsgate.

Not a typo, the US Endo Arm Edition is lacking in a 3D Disc and the OST (Official Sound Track) but it is signed by James Cameron (on a sticker) on the collectible.

For $175 I hope that thing is actually metal and Cameron signed each one himself and not just a replica of his signature.

Well, for $134 (still available on Amazon in US) I broke down and bought it! I can always buy the 3D on it’s own. Was it ever confirmed what the arm was made of? I thought they did say it was an actual Cameron signature on a sticker.
It is likely to be plastic, if this was metal/alloy then imagine how much it would weigh. As long as it is not cheaply made then fans shouldn’t care as long as it looks good and doesn’t scratch to hell to reveal black plastic underneath.
Yeah, I agree! If it was metal, that would have probably been a good selling point. I actually just cancelled my Amazon order and contacted Target. There was no picture on the item number, but when I contacted them found out it was the same thing…only cheaper with free shipping or store pickup! $119
With a suggested retail price of $175 vs the $25 for just the movie, I am really hoping that the $150 extra is because the arm is actually some form of metal but I’m sure they would have said so if it was. It wouldn’t have hurt them to say what the arm was made out of…
So I guess there aren’t going to be anymore made? I missed out and I am really bummed out about it!
