The home release of Terminator 2: Judgment Day 4K/Blu-Ray isn’t running smoothly with numerous shifts in release dates.
Lionsgate have revealed to Blu-Ray.com that the street release date in the United States is now set for December 26th. A day after Christmas… such a shame that US Terminator Fans will not have this under the tree on Christmas day…
The Endo Arm collectors edition has also been problematic to say the least where some fans have had their orders cancelled it is still apparently coming but the date is still sadly “unspecified”. The problem with the Endo Arm hold back is apparently down to manufacturing/production issues but that does not explain the whole shift around for the home release in general. There has been some negative feedback from some reviewers and Blu-Ray fanatics that the home release of the remaster is poor and lazy but until we see it for ourselves we shall hold “Judgment”.
The folks at Lionsgate Home Entertainment have informed us that the new street date for the Terminator 2: Judgment Day 4K Blu-ray release is December 26.
Additionally, we have been informed that the Collector’s Edition EndoArm set will be released at a later, at the moment unspecified, date.
