Terminator (2019) AKA Terminator 6 has now been officially green-lit and cameras will begin rolling on June 19th 2018. Writer Billy Ray who was brought in to do a final spit and polish to the script and story shared the announcement via Twitter.

This would also suggest that James Cameron is happy with the script as he will have signed off/gave his approval for Skydance to green-light the project.

Be it good or not, this “TERMINATOR” is more an equivalent to “Star Wars Sequel Trilogy would have been” had Disney allowed George Lucas remained as consultant
As for “close-the-loop-Terminator-3” many fans have been waiting for, it’s more like the equivalent to Star Wars 7-9 which planned before “Return of the Jedi”
Anyway, if Dani Ramos can be a more gritty heroine in line with Sarah Connor and Ripley, with guidance from John Connor as Luke-Skywalker-should-have-been, then I’m in! Ep VIII is really a good negative lesson.
