Come September we will have The Terminator on Blu-Ray. This is the standard edition but you can get yourself an exclusive Steelbook edition exclusive to Play.com which you can pre-order here. We are unsure of what these editions will offer… they could be a re-hash of the previous Blu-Ray editions seen before. No information has been provided in the way of special features or if this version will restore the original gun sounds. Fans have complained about the change in gun fire sounds that were altered for DVD release probably to do with transfer and quality, the DVD even altered the intro text, the fans know what we mean.
We will be sure to keep you in the loop as news develops on this release and we hope they give fans their moneys worth. One thing can be said… these releases have great artwork and many a fan and collector will be reserving their copies.
