On July 18th Hall H of San Diego Comic Con International (SDCC) will be dominated by a Terminator: Dark Fate panel.
The panel itself will feature the main cast of T:DF; including veteran cast members Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“Stars Linda Hamilton, Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta as well as director Tim Miller are also expected to hit the stage in Hall H.”
The Hollywood Reporter
Terminator: Dark Fate will be the first movie to kick off proceedings in Hall H.
“With a start time of 11:00 a.m. PT, the Dark Fate presentation will be the first to kick off the Hall H proceedings.”
The Hollywood Reporter
We already presumed that Terminator: Dark Fate would be gunning to show new footage (see video below) at SDCC – due to the fact that Disney showed extended footage at CineEurope 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
“The presentation is expected to reveal new footage from the sci-fi action movie that opens Nov. 1.”
The Hollywood Reporter
Sony, Warner Bros.’ DC, Universal and Lionsgate are all reportedly skipping San Diego Comic Con 2019, leaving Paramount and Disney as some of the only major studios attending the event. This follows controversy surrounding Comic-Con and leaks of footage like Suicide Squad; which ended up not being truly representative of the final product, the cost of putting on a promotion for a movie in Hall H (with studios like Warner Brothers questioning if the cost will validate the potential financial returns), and that some studios don’t feel a movie’s reception at Comic-Con is a good litmus test for possible financial success at the box office.
Hopefully the new footage can win fans around after the mediocre teaser trailer and the recent plot leaks.
Perhaps we (joe public) will get a footage leak from Comic Con that might look half decent, or maybe something official uploaded around the event… ? Terminator: Dark Fate really has to win interest back, and hopefully it isn’t too late already.

Cool is awesome and great i,m getting ready for fhe panel of Terminator Dark Fate is great and i will see it and there will be a Future War scene Like T2?is Coll thanks
I got to so I’m happy that i could enjoy the teaser trailer without been spoiled with story details though I feel the Terminator franchise hasn’t earned a great deal of love of interest since T3.
This is what Dark Fate is going up against can this film win the interest ? so I hope Cameron and the crew stick with the R rating as Terminator is a mature film for us adults, we buy the tickets, pleasing your target audience is more important then including teenagers and children as they have zero interest in watching this film.
I hope the studio does not get uncomfortable reading Youtube comments because pleasing the minority of these fans seems like a struggle they’ll complain about anything.
I generally feel like most of the audience that arrives to the theaters to watch films don’t waste time with degrading comments.
