Terminator legend, actor Linda Hamilton recently spoke to WFLA News Channel 8 about her ongoing role as General McCallister in SYFY‘s ‘Resident Alien‘, a TV show based on the comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics. Though, the subject of Terminator is never far away and Linda couldn’t escape being questioned about her portrayal of Sarah Connor and how much the iconic role means to her – with the actress going on to state that she hopes that she won’t be back as Sarah Connor again.
“So, I have to ask you before we go, about Sarah Connor, that role, uh, what does she mean to you?”

“Um, you know she really means… kinda everything to me, um, because she really represents the bookends of my career. You know, starting as a, as a young actress in the first one in ’84, um and then finishing… grand finish 35 years later, or something, so, uh, you know, it, I don’t think I knew the impact of that character after the first film, you know, that it would lead to this long, uh, journey, but I am very proud that I got to play her. Um, and I also hope I don’t have to play her again (laughs). Please.”

Following the box office failure of Terminator: Dark Fate Linda Hamilton had already made it pretty clear that she had no interest in reprising her role as Sarah Connor for Terminator 7.
“I don’t have any desire to continue. I never did.”

Linda Hamilton also blamed “fickle fandom” for Terminator: Dark Fate’s failure at the box office but did leave the door open in a sense, by saying she may consider more Terminator on one condition…
“Only if there’s something really viable in the script and story and characters, would I ever consider doing it again. Otherwise it’s just diminishing returns, isn’t it?”

It’s very likely that Linda signed on for Terminator 7 as part of her contract for Terminator: Dark Fate, and Skydance could bring the actress back for another movie – but that would mean bringing a reluctant Linda back to the franchise, unless they could convince her with a worthwhile story.

Emilia Clarke was the last Sarah Connor from Genysis but it makes no sense like that since Sarah Connor the first played by Linda she should be dead in 1998 instead of her son but it all failed and if Kyle Reese was was alive he should been killed in 1984 he should stay alive before he dies in 1995 after terminated the second Terminator who had a mission to kill John before the 3rd helps protects him from the T-1000 with the help of Sarah in 1997 before battle across time in 1998 before Rise of the Machines in 2004, Salvation in 2017, & the last terminator 6 Dark Fate Genysis right after Sarah Connor chronicles in 1996-1997. That should absolutely makes sense.
J’espère de tout cœur qu’elle sera là pour T7 Horreur parce que c’est la seule la vraie la plus badasse et j’espère qu’ils écouterons les fans une bonne fois pour toute qu’on veut la voir au côté de reese et de john dans la futur genre film d’horeur ! avec une belle écriture continue de ce personnage légendaire !
