Earlier this year MEDICOM TOY revealed an awesome looking new T-800 Terminator figure based on Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s cybernetic assassin from The Terminator (1984). Now, prototypes for two new Terminator 2: Judgment Day action figures have been unveiled at MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION ’22, with the first being an impressive, heavily battle-damaged T-800 ‘Uncle Bob‘ figure from the final scenes of Terminator 2: Judgment Day – accessories shown so far (expect more) include the steel rod used in the battle with the T-1000. The second figure is a menacing future war T-800 Endoskeleton from the opening scenes of the movie, which is accompanied by a phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range.
The battle damaged Uncle Bob T-800 T2 figure is presented fully painted. The Endoskeleton is unpainted and in an earlier stage of development to the other figures.
Hopefully MEDICOM TOY won’t make fans buy two figures to have their T-800’s dual wield plasma rifles!
What’s been unveiled so far has been promising, as these prototypes do indeed look good and also show potential for more Terminator figures from MEDICOM TOY in the future.
The MAFEX Terminator figures will be 160mm in size, 6.3 inches and 1/12 scale.
Which figure you are most excited for in the MAFEX line, and what other characters would you like to see in the future?
