Terminator: Resistance video game developers Teyon Games have recently relocated to a new office and as part of the office decoration the company have murals of key artwork from Terminator: Resistance. One of those murals shows new content which will be part of the new DLC coming soon.
Although not having the likeness of actor Michael Biehn, we know that the man stood at the front of this image is indeed Kyle Reese, his Resistance Tech-Com garb features the serial ‘K RE‘ and, though not fully legible, we know that DN38416 will follow.
For anyone skeptical that this could be Kyle Reese, a past auction with Prop Store shows his Tech-Com serial / identification from the first movie The Terminator (1984)…
Data mining also previously revealed that Kyle Reese will be part of a new upcoming DLC…
We also know that Corporal Ferro from T1 will be a part of the new DLC, and this new mural artwork in the Teyon office also appears to show this.
Ferro was also revealed to be part of the new DLC from the data mine.
Additionally the artwork shows the HK Centurion, an unused Hunter Killer concept that was originally intended for the future war scenes of Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
The HK Centurion is something we really wanted to see fully realised in the movies – but we are happy to settle for seeing it in action in the expanded Terminator: Resistance content.
Again, these files were found in the data mine.
The HK Centurion was also teased via schematics in a hidden room in the Infiltrator Mode DLC.
The male character to the right of Kyle Reese, is, as we know from the previous data mining, named ‘Evans‘. It is unknown who the other character is, but it could be Sgt. Perry perhaps…
Reef Entertainment have previously stated that any future content for Terminator: Resistance would only be available for PC and PS5, which means that Xbox One, PS4, and Xbox Series X / S will miss out on new DLC’s and enhancements for the fan favorite title. Though Reef did also state that any players who had purchased the game for PS4 would receive a free upgrade to the PS5 version – should they buy Sony‘s next gen console…
Are you looking forward to the release of DLC 2 from Terminator: Resistance? Are you worried about the lack of Michael Biehn’s likeness for Kyle Reese?
