Humans build artificial intelligence (AI) only to have that AI try to kill off humanity- it isn’t a new concept; it is one that has been used countless times and one that will be used countless more… until the day an actual AI kills all of humanity.
All hail SkyNet and the Age of Arnold!
Avengers: Age of Ultron is coming out May 1st of this year (in the USA) and its main villain is an AI. Like SkyNet from the Terminator franchise,- Ultron is created by a human (in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tony Stark creates it and not Hank Pym) and then turns on its creator and all of humanity.
And Ultron, from all the comic book readers talking about him, is the first real villain from the comics that the Avengers have had to face. Loki was bad, but it seems not in the same league as Ultron.
On April 16, 2015, a source close to the production of Terminator Genisys informed us that the recently released Terminator trailer unlocked via #TerminatorUnlock will be attached to the theatrical release of Avengers: Age of Ultron. As previously reported by TheTerminatorFans.com the trailer would undergo a 3D conversion meaning that this will be the first trailer fans will see and have a glimpse of the 3D scenes in the movie (if you view Age of Ultron in 3D).

It’s a very good fit as both have evil AIs and both are from franchises with large fan-bases. So if you’re a Terminator fan, seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron will be more than an Avengers movie to you.
