Without a doubt another Terminator movie will be made in the not to distant future… be that by current rights owners Skydance Productions or possibly by series creator James Cameron when he owns the property again in 2019.
Skydance Productions has less than 3 years to bring people a sequel to Terminator Genisys; after the negative feedback and performance the movie had outside of China they stated they are re-evaluating and trying to listen to fans to try and get it right next time… which either means they are focusing on one movie instead of back to back sequels or what would be a surprising and seemingly unlikely no movie at all plan. Regardless the originally planned sequel to Terminator Genisys has been pulled from the Paramount release schedule.
Will Cyberdyne systems Model 101 be back?
Jonathan Tam, a UK correspondent of TheTerminatorFans.com attended Olexy Productions (formerly known as Olexy Fresh Promotions) “An Experience with Arnold Schwarzenegger” in Birmingham UK and he asked the following question while meeting Arnold in the cybernetic flesh.
Is there going to be another Terminator movie?
Sure!
Are you making it?
Not at the moment.
Terminator Genisys’ sequel was meant to be released next year and Paramount have dropped the initial planned release date, Avatar is also on hold indefinitely… are the stars realigning for a Cameron/Schwarzenegger/Hamilton tour de force movie?
James Cameron’s main studio connection is 20th Century Fox, the same studio that is doing all the risk taking we admire by allowing ‘mainstream’ R Rated movies to happen like Deadpool and a statement from Ridley Scott has revealed he will be going for a pretty hard R this time around with Alien Prequel/Prometheus Continuation Alien: Covenant.
20th Century Fox could have strong future plans and ideals on the Terminator property and a James Cameron R Rated/NC-17 Terminator movie would make serious money in the box office without doubt.
We hope James Cameron comes back to re-team with Schwarzenegger for a new real and genuine Terminator movie after Skydance have fulfilled their role of ownership.
Regardless Schwarzenegger is pretty “sure” he will be back regardless of the delay of a Genisys sequel. He looks in good shape and we can actually believe that a Schwarzenegger/Cameron Terminator reunion is possible in a few years time.
Fans had a great time at the event and we will update this post with even more images very soon.

Could have been saving face. Also, “sure” there will be another Terminator someday, but not necessarily a sequel from Paramount to Genisys.
I personally think there will be a sequel to Genisys. They may be waiting on Deadpool’s box-office to gauge R-rated fare. Why they need that false validation is anyone’s guess.
A new wave of Rated R movies have begun… We admire what Deadpool stands for and thank 20th Century for listening to a fan base. Schwarzenegger knew they would do another Terminator as he is likely contractually obliged to do the original proposed/planned trilogy. Skydance Media (formerly known as Skydance Productions) is not the type of company to go bust from making dud movies because the resources for the company look endless. Terminator Genisys would have Terminated and ended other studios eg. Terminator Salvation. If Skydance Media’s ownership of the Terminator franchise was a permanent deal we would shut this site down and jump fucking ship.
Skydance has much to prove
