A fanmade animation (fan-imation?) by Lancimations sees Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The Terminator T-800 unit appear in the world of video game Fortnite, resulting in some fun, and Terminator call-backs.
The animation glimpses what a Terminator DLC might look like for the game. Fortnite past and present has had many DLC’s and appearances from characters from other franchises like; DC Comics, Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I know not everyone likes Fortnite, but I hope people can still like the animation anyway.
The animation riffs heavily on Terminator 2: Judgment Day as the cybernetic organism (T-800) arrives from the future and has an interaction with an inhabitant of the Fortnite world; which sees the T-800 leave with some Persol sunglasses and a shotgun. There’s even a hint of RoboCop thrown in for good measure – with the scene at the end as the petrol station explodes.
A month ago AustintheBear shared the skin used in the animation on Reddit on an Epic Games / developer supported Reddit thread. It shows various skin combinations, battle damage stages and a full endoskeleton version (the Genisys / Dark Fate design).
The animation and skin is pretty cool, and we are sure there are many gamers that would love a turn as The Terminator in some MMO PVP madness. Yes, The Terminator appearing in Fortnite might be deemed to be yet another deviation towards a more child friendly vibe for Terminator, but that door is already open, so, why not?
Not to mention Fortnite is brought to us by Epic Games which is co-owned by Tencent and Tencent were also co-investors in Terminator: Dark Fate, so it doesn’t feel that much of a reach that this could happen.
T-3500 Terminator Unit in Fortnite
This isn’t the first time the Terminator franchise has brushed shoulders with the Fortnite universe, as not that long ago Fortnite gave birth to a new unit of Terminator; the T-3500. Whilst this might not have been an official cross over,- rapper Travis Scott featured in a gaming event called Astronomical that also featured a Terminator inspired character skin.

Considering Fortnite has crossovered with John Wick, Borderlands and other R rated franchises I could see this happening.
