A first look at the T-600 has arrived courtesy of GamePro.com.

The T-600 will be dominating the March 10th, 2009 cover of GamePro magazine with its glowing red death stare and menacing smile.

Here is a closer look (below) at the new Terminator villain that has previously only been mentioned by Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) in the first Terminator movie; The Terminator (1984).

First Look GamePro T-600 Terminator Salvation

“The 600 series had rubber skin. We spotted them easy, but these are new. They look human – sweat, bad breath, everything. Very hard to spot. I had to wait till he moved on you before I could zero him.”

Kyle Reese – The Terminator (1984)

These are the words spoken to Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) by Kyle Reese when he was warning her about the future and educating her about the unstoppable T-800 Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), after escaping the killer machine’s grasp in Tech Noir nightclub.

GamePro’s teaser images for the T-600 from Terminator Salvation’s Video Game show the Endoskeleton, and if we go by what Kyle Reese said in the first Terminator movie; they will have rubber skin covering them when we see them in the movie. We presume there will be more than one of these Terminators knocking around in the future war, well, hopefully anyway.

This guy looks huge, and is carrying one of those goddamn mini-gun’s, the weapon which the T-800 used to deter the police in the chaotic siege at Cyberdyne Systems in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

While this image, depicting the T-600, is just an artist render we can’t wait to see it in practical form, and Stan Winston Studio never let Terminator Fans down when it comes to practical FX and life-size Terminator puppets. It will surely be a visual treat watching one of these giant machines terminating a bunch of Resistance soldiers in the future war.

Also it has been a while since we had a new Terminator game to sink our teeth into and we can’t wait to destroy some Terminators – hopefully we get to play as a T-600 for a mission, or mode. That would definitely tick a box and score them some brownie points with fans.

In an exclusive look at the new Terminator Salvation Video Game GamePro’s cover states:

“NEW GEAR, NEW GUNS, AND A WILD NEW PREQUEL STORY!”

    GamePro Magazine

A prequel story sounds good because we need to explain how we got from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines to Terminator Salvation. So if we can find out what happened in the years between, then it will surely answer a lot of questions Terminator Fans have about the new direction the studios and McG are taking with the movie.

“The March 2009 issue of GamePro is a world exclusive first look at Terminator Salvation the game. Feast your eyes on the cover below and get a look at Terminator 4’s new evil-looking T-600 model!”

    GamePro

The Terminator Salvation issue of GamePro is set to cover the following:

    • Terminator Salvation’s numerous menacing Terminator machines, including one that makes Arnie’s model look friendly
    • First details on Terminator Salvation’s epic story
    • The weapons used in Salvation’s battle against the machines
    • A guide to all the versions of the humanoid Terminator models, everything from Schwarzenegger’s T-800 up to the T-10000000.
    • Images from both the movie and the game
    • A look back at previous Terminator video games
    • And more!

Fans will certainly not want to miss out on this issue as it will be packed with Terminator content and juicy information about the upcoming movie and game which is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii.
