Well, we confirmed it the other day and here’s the trailer that will play on Sunday as predicted in our previous Exclusive story.

The trailer seems to introduce us to a new Terminator; unless the T-1000 in the movie begins to evolve or struggle with its mimetic poly alloy morphing ability.

It sounds like a bird sanctuary of parrots is being killed or the murder of crows as we witness more and more CGI scenes. Arnold Schwarzenegger looks good in his role and we are looking forward to seeing his ‘Guardian’ character in action!

It definitely has a comic book look and feel to it, this is backed up by the CGI, it doesn’t instill any fear in us but looks like it will be good fun for a new generation of fans. I personally have different ideas about what I want from a Terminator movie but I am still interested in seeing it as the movie has peaked my interest. Fans need to enter the theater with an open mind and give the movie a chance. Then Judgment Day will be upon us!

The Superbowl Trailer proves that less=more. It was more fun than the Trailer Tease etc.

Rather have a murder of crows than say an orchestral piece we have heard in several movies/trailers before.

Heard rumors about a T-2000 and a T-5000. Obviously we have heard more but it is best for us to share info which we think will excite fans, there is other exciting stuff the movie will offer but our lips are sealed. The leaked Salvation ending pissed off people no end we won’t participate in anything that could be considered as damaging.

Regardless of the outcome, we are liking the style and appearance of Arnold in the movie. A 1/4 Scale and more figures are planned.

The short trailer really makes your heart pound. I agree that sometimes shorter things are sweeter.

Pet peeve about trailers is when they give the entire movie away >.<

Finally we can see the T-1000 endoskeleton… It`s a good move, I think, that James Cameron could do this thing also, but he had not such a technical possibilities… So my idea is that this terminator is T-1000. Arnie looks awesome – this old and young 😀 So as it was said… we should give this movie chance and stay open minded.

The T-1000 doesn’t have an endoskeleton in T2 and wasn’t supposed to. It was intentional, not some technical hurdle that JC couldn’t overcome.

The new trailer is awesome, pumped right now for the new movie. Arnold looks great in his role and it would appear from what little glimpses we are getting to see that he is being portrayed in a similar fashion as to how he was in T2 which is excellent! That’s the way to go!

“Fans need to enter the theater with an open mind and give the movie a chance.” No, I disagree. It is still a Hollywood production and that is the entire difference with the independently produced first movie and the fact that the studios weren’t reluctant to let Cameron do his magic again for part two. This time, however, we are purely looking at what Hollywood CEO’s are expecting will make them money. The Terminator franchise has gone down to the level of DB Comics and Marvel movies. Genisys is going to be PG13 – you can’t expect me to go watch a children’s movie when my sentiments are based on that merciless creature of steel from the first and second movies. A father will take his young teenage son to the movie theater and say, “Okay, boy. What’s it gonna be? Genisys, Transformers or Spider-Man part 8?” I miss the passion, the guts, the gore, and I just don’t want to pay for a ticket and have those Hollywood CEO’s go: “See. We nailed it!” Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been dying for the trailer to come out but it feels more like a money-maker than anything else. I just saw a poster that said “3D!” Seriously? Oh wait, you want me to sit in a movie theater with plastic glasses on and pay an additional $2.50? What I want, people, is a movie that blows me away, is R-rated, does justice to part 1 and 2, and is made by people who are passionate about their subject – I just don’t get that feeling here.

We did want the series to go back to it’s dark roots. We did run a Rated R Campaign. We understand your view.

I first read about the movie being PG-13 on this website and was shocked though not entirely surprised. Thanks for putting in the effort with the campaign. The news that they are now making the fight between the two T-800’s more brutal is a good start. I’m hoping for more.

You know what, I absolutely agree with your post and feel your frustration. I am going to watch this movie because I AM A DIE HARD TERMINATOR FAN… with that said, I just read a review about a screenplay…. POSSIBLE SPOILER********************

…and it says that the Terminator (pops, the guardian) takes Sarah to the zoo, the machine gets feelings and at one point in the movie gets its feelings hurt by Kyle Reese… are you kidding me?!!! What is that?? That is not the “merciless creature of steel from the first and second movies”—- If this is the direction this movie is going in to appeal to 13 year old kids then this will be the end of this franchise.
I hope someone can tell me I am wrong and this was part of an older screen play that will no longer be used… please

I don’t mind a Terminator being more human (Cameron from TSCC did a good job with being more human while still being fully Terminator), but I want an R rating. Terminator is a series that NEEDS a high rating in order to get to the good stuff.

“Comic book” is a good way to describe it. Don’t know if it’s just the way these trailers are cut, but the film seems to have a very contemporary feel to it — like it’s designed to appeal to people who like modern summer blockbuster films.

Not necessarily a bad thing and maybe best for the franchise (a la Star Trek), but it’s distinctly different from how we’ve known things to be.

I just want a Future War movie as seen in The Terminator and T2. The video games Future Shock and Skynet from Bethesda did it well.
