During the filming of Terminator: Dark Fate, you could tell there was a special rapport between the female cast members in behind the scenes images and footage.
Linda Hamilton, Natalia Reyes and Mackenzie Davis looked very comfortable in each other’s company and it will be interesting to see how that plays on screen in conjunction with the story.

“We forged an incredible story as we went along with each other, I love the fact that there are circulating elements that shift between the three of us, that each of them has a little bit of Sarah Connor. It was absolutely incredible to take this journey with them, and to ultimately trust and believe in two women as much as I do in these two women. We fortified each other every day.”

    Linda Hamilton told EW

Linda Hamilton on the Sarah Connor-esque transformation of Mackenzie Davis AKA ‘Grace’:

“I was very happy to see Mackenzie take the mantle of turning her body into a fighting machine, hopefully she will get all the attention that I got in 1991 for what she has done to make herself ready, to make herself a warrior.”

    Linda Hamilton told EW

Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) Helped to Pick Natalia Reyes (Dani Ramos) for the Baton Pass in Terminator: Dark Fate:

We know that Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been stated by Tim Miller and James Cameron as passing the baton to a new generation of characters – one of them being the equivalent to the new Sarah Connor in the form of Dani Ramos.

While fans aren’t sure how this will be handled with the new movie (or the trilogy), one thing is certain, stepping into the shoes of Linda Hamilton and taking on the mantle of Sarah Connor is no easy feat by any means.

Tim Miller on the casting of Dani:

“Linda came and read with several different Danis when we narrowed it down a little bit, and when she read with Natalia, who was in the middle of that session, she gets up and says, ‘Do I get a vote? Because she’s the one.’”

    Tim Miller told EW

    Linda Hamilton added:

“Natalia left the room and I looked at Tim and just went, ‘Bingo.’ She’s just the most effortless and extraordinary actress. Truly, I think one of the greatest actresses I’ve ever worked with. Because you don’t see her working or doing it, she just comes up with it. She’s very strong and amazing.”

The women of Terminator: Dark Fate

TheTerminatorFans.com have always wished the best for the female cast of Terminator: Dark Fate, and we are interested to see how the female core team of the movie will work on screen, we hope it will be as natural as Sarah Connor was in the first two movies because if it is natural we will connect with these characters and care about them, and we do want that to happen because we are tired of failed sequels and reboots…

Sarah Connor was a feminist icon – that’s a matter of fact and it wasn’t contrived and forced, so let’s hope that its similarly the case with T:DF.
