T2 The Arcade Game was a money swallowing monster; you’ll remember the panic of trying to put in more coins before the Midway arcade cabinet pulled the plug on your game. If you didn’t make it to the final battle with the T-1000 back in the day then Arcade1Up is here to bring a ¾ scale replica of the Terminator 2: Judgment Day Arcade Game to your home. Thankfully, you won’t need coins to play this one.
The original black guns which were fixed to the cabinet, and had a recoil function, have been swapped out for a blue and red variation – understandably this was probably neccessitated due to the cabinet’s ¾ scale size.
“In 1991, visionary director James Cameron changed cinema forever with Terminator 2: Judgment Day. It’s thrilling action sequences and groundbreaking visual effects mesmerized audiences, and arcade enthusiasts clamored for a video game adaptation.
In anticipation, Midway developed T2 the arcade game simultaneously with the film’s production and release. Utilizing sleek light guns for one or two players to play the roles of T-800 cyborgs, the game featured Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Patrick, and Eddie Furlong reprising their respective roles in digitized footage.
The game was a blockbuster hit 1991, and now 30 years later, Arcade1Up is thrilled to produce this title in a home arcade form factor. Arcade1Up game cabinets have quickly become absolute must-haves for retrogame enthusiasts and pop-culture collectors; they play great, look great, and are instant conversation pieces. With T2, Arcade1Up fans will get their hands on one of the most requested titles ever.”

OF COURSE I REMEMBER IT IS THE BEST TERMINATOR VIDEO GAME !!!!!
THE VIDEO GAME TERMINATOR 3 REDEMPTION AND SALVATION MISSION DELTA ARE EXCELLENT TOO BUT THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST FIRST TERMINATOR VIDEO GAMES THAT EXIST !!!
Damn, that’s potentially awesome. Would love a Terminator Salvation arcade to go with it. But I’d probably never buy either any way. Just not something I have room for nor the money to spend on. Unless I can put in most other arcade shooters through a mod.
It is really awesome this is happening.
Trop vintage trop classe !
