Slash/Up is here and things are about to get bloody in a battle between Sarah Connor and Jason Vorhees. Again this just reassures us that the Terminator franchise should not stoop to the low of PG-13…
Overall the episode was well produced, effects-wise we can’t fault it; it really did ooze the 80s slasher vibe from Friday the 13th movie. Jason was performed well. It was nice to see the little homages like Sarah Connor’s jeep from the first movie as well as some decently choreographed fighting with generous blood splatter. The Sarah Connor depicted in this is an obvious homage to badass Linda Hamilton in Terminator: Judgment Day when she goes into Terminator mode on the hunt for Mile Bennet Dyson.
The next episode will take the series to new level when Neo comes face to face with The Springwood Slasher (Freddy) but only with your help. The Kickstarter has now begun to fund episode 2.
