It’s been on the cards for a while, but it looks like it’s finally happening…. Data miners have been looking into the files of the latest Fortnite update, and it reveals that a Terminator 2: Judgment Day skin (or a double pack of skins) is coming.
The confirmation for Terminator Fans is the below image; which is instantly recognisable as the T2 vault at Cyberdyne Systems that contained the chip and arm from The Terminator (1984).

The portal has since opened, and you can see the Cyberdyne System vault image / video loop inside…

The Terminator portal is called “Typhoon” and the only skin we know of with the same codename is called “TyphoonFemale”.

So we’ll probably get a female person from the Terminator movies, but not the Terminator himself.
The above tweet is suggesting only a female skin – but we believe the T-800 could be a part of this regardless. How can you have a Terminator event / skin without a Terminator?
The codename ‘typhoon‘ is being used, and the comparison is much like Judgment Day; in that a typhoon is an event that causes devastation
Some files are harder to decrypt but what the data miners know is that a female character is part of this release, and that would of course be Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). Though some people are debating a double pack like The Walking Dead’s recent skin pack.
While clues have pointed to the Persol style of sunglasses that Arnold Schwarzenegger wore in Terminator 2: Judgment Day – added to the recent inclusion of the Winchester shotgun, it would be hoped this is a T2 tie in and not Terminator: Dark Fate.

UPDATE: Fortnite has dropped another clue as to the identity of the next ‘hunter’ to enter the game… is it Sarah Connor, or a double pack featuring Sarah Connor and the T-800?
The accompanying transmission log text reads:

Targets Description: A ruthless machine and a protector of the future”
Note the plural of ‘Targets’…
