Exclusive: Brad Fiedel – No Return For New Terminator Trilogy?

Brad Fiedel is a legend in his own right; the first two Terminator movies had incredibly distinct scores done by Mr Fiedel. The synth style of music distinguished and set apart a terminator movie from other movies, it was the mechanical sound of data and dark technology screeching before your ears with  catchy bass driven drum beats to drag you right up to the edge of a chase between a tanker truck and mayhem.

Being a Terminator Fan easily allowed me to become a fan of Brad Fiedel and his work and when he wasn’t on the motion picture score for Terminator 3,- the movie in my eyes became illegitimate.

So now they are making a new Terminator movie, a trilogy to be more exact and I’m sorry but if these movies suck I’d at least like a soundtrack that salvages the movie from the wreck and makes the action scenes at least have the official Terminator feel.

So we asked Brad Fiedel the following:

“If asked; would you return to score the new Terminator trilogy?”

    Brad Fiedel:

“I feel very lucky that I had the opportunity to create the scores for the first two Terminator films, and am at a point in my life where I’m happy to let those scores stand as my contribution to the Terminator story.”

A Terminator movie without Brad Fiedel… damn what happened to this world?

Brad still has passion for music and you can find out more about what he is doing on his official website.

Expect more Brad Fiedel content on TheTerminatorFans.com in the near future and here’s hoping that maybe… just maybe @Skydance asks Brad back and he maybe considers saying yes… that could be a fine day indeed.
