Bear Mcreary had big shoes to fill when he was to tread upon the same hallowed ground as the mighty Brad Fiedel. Bear McCreary would be responsible for scoring and composing the soundtrack for TSCC- 2 seasons; giving the series extra authenticity by respecting the source material, replicating and creating music that does fit in with the original two movies music legacy and style.
TSCC ended after 2 seasons. Fans have campaigned and pleaded with FOX to no avail. Even series producers have made attempts to negotiate with the new owners of Terminator to allow the team to continue the show via a Kickstarter Project- this has been disallowed.
Bear McCreary did start to develop music for a third season and he also notified us that he has some unreleased music from Season 2 that he would like to release one day

Will these unreleased scores be released on CD? It would be great if Fox Released a new Special Release with bonus motion Score CD’s included with these unreleased tracks.
However it would be even cooler if a season 3 or Home Release/Netflix Movie was the platform for us to hear this unreleased music by Bear. Skydance Productions have their Terminator TV Series (Genisys Tie-in), instead allowing a kickstarter movie of TSCC will please TSCC fans and not become a direct competition.
Fans need to be heard and catered for. The Fans didn’t want TSCC to run for an eternity, they just wanted a rounded story that felt complete… how could a 2 season run achieve that? Let them get their ending.

There needed to be a third season and possibly more. That Season 2 Cliffhanger…it is bad. It makes
it painful to watch the final ep because you know you’re never getting canonical answers to things.
And it’d be awesome to hear more of McCreary’s work and imagining what things on screen it would match 🙂
I sure hope TSCC comes back! It was an amazing series and Bear’s music made it even better!
