Some of the new Terminator cast like social media A LOT, Diego Boneta literally looks like a kid in a candy shop as he works on the new Terminator movie (who can blame him?).
Diego has also been happy to be shooting parts of the Terminator movie in Murcia for another reason…
“I’m happy to be here, for those who do not know, my grandmother is from Murcia so I’m happy to shoot here.”
Diego shared the following Terminator Selfie last week (yes #TerminatorSelfie has become a thing/trend that started with Terminator Genisys).
What do we get from this picture? Well, Tim Miller looks like a cyborg trying to tap into learning mode to find corrupted smile files, the crew is preparing a scene, a vehicle behind Tim seems to have some kind of a camera rig to film some car chase work (presumption) … WAIT A MINUTE!
Diego’s character has an ear piercing! Be it real or a clip on; Mr. Boneta has an earring…
The blue T-Shirt Diego is wearing seems to be part of his wardrobe but in the movie he will wear a similar colored shirt over it with the buttons undone. Diego’s character has been long rumored to be the brother of Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) the earring might re-enforce that rumor as this addition to his wardrobe adds to the whole streetwise thing about Dani and the set picture above shows them walking through a gritty Mexican street.
The real question is… is Diego a fully fledged character of the new trilogy or a sacraficial lamb character that is going to be severly injured or killed in the crossfire when Sarah Connor and Mackenzie Davis’ characters have a run in with Luna’s Terminator or law enforcement?
Natalia Reyes has signed onto three Terminator movies and if Diego is portraying Dani Ramos’ younger brother (presumption based on the actors real life ages) then surely Diego might suffer a fate similar to Kyle Reese to contribute to the character growth of Reyes’ character?
Also finishing on a quick note; newest cast member Kevin Medina shared an instagram post leaning against a wall that has street art that feels very similar to set decoration we’ve seen for the movie, so this is how his character might look in the movie.
