IGN ask Alan Taylor in a press interview for Thor: The Dark World about Terminator 5.
Still standing by the rumor statement he was also asked:
“Could you make a Terminator movie without Arnold Schwarzenegger?”
His response:
“One could, I don’t know that I would”

I would like to see a new fresh TERMINATOR 5 with a different director with Arnie because he does feel like he’s resting after the incident he had and the last TERMINATOR SALVATION film Arnie wasn’t in it. He was just a cameo and some other actor played the T-800 Arnie. That could happen again one more time. I will just wait on news on more Arnie if he is capable of playing the T-800 once again.
