Terminator: Genisys seems like a big cluster of insanity. Rebooting was the first bad sign and now with every piece of news there seems to be yet another thing going wrong or the movie is speculated/judged as being bad. However this viewpoint is not shared by J.K.Simmons.
J.K. stated to MSN:
“It has a wonderful script with many layers that I think will surprise people. It’s more than just an action movie. It was a brilliant experience,”
What are the layers? I don’t like to have final opinions on things until I see the finished product, but this seems like Simmons trying to get people into theater seats. Not that I blame him, he obviously has enthusiasm for the project.
“It was a lovely experience actually, working with all those actors – Emilia, Jai, Jason and Arnold.”
This I believe. Sometimes what goes on behind the camera is much better than the finished movie. It’s good that even with the bad movie Terminator: Genisys is rumored to be that the actors had a good time making it.
