A vintage copy of The Terminator (1984) on VHS has sold for an unbelievable figure of $32.5k online.
The crazy purchase through ComicConnect.com saw a buyer stump up the incredible amount, though surprisingly there wasn’t even a bidding war as the item only had one offer. The buyer obviously really wanted this original VHS so badly that they seemingly bid an unbeatable price – you can pick up notable props from the movie for much less, so this price does somewhat seem a little out there.
ComicConnect and their grading system is trusted by many, so maybe, just maybe, this is one of the most pristine copies of The Terminator knocking around planet earth right now.

So, should Terminator Fans start hunting for original issue copies of The Terminator on VHS in the hopes of making big money? Well, do this at your own risk, we’ve never really seen VHS copies of The Terminator (even factory sealed) going for a price like this before and we doubt that most fans would be so lucky as to have this particular mystery buyer put such a high reserve on their listed item. Although, if the VHS can get a price like this today… then maybe you should hold onto your copy for another 10 years – if you have one.
