Developed by Grin and published by Equity Games and Evolved Games. Directed by Co-founder of Grin, Ulf Andersson, and written by Corey May and Dooma Wendschuh.

Terminator Salvation – The Game tells the story of John Connor as he fights machines, carries out missions and builds relationships within the human Resistance in the war against SkyNet. The game is set in the year 2016 and acts as a prequel to the events seen in the action packed 2009 movie which is set in the year 2018.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins focuses on the exploits of now 30-year-old John Connor in a world on the road to the extinction of humanity. The game offers players the chance to assume the role of John, battling for survival against the far superior forces of Skynet. Played in a third-person action game, Terminator Salvation features concentrated armed combat against all of the Skynet enemies from the film as well as new enemies specifically designed for the game.

Terminator Salvation – The Game is technically a third person cover-shooter in the same vein as Gears of War and with the same cover shoot mechanics but with the aesthetic of the early phase of the future war seen in the Terminator Salvation movie.
The game is one of the better Terminator games, but was mostly criticised by fans for being too short; which we touched upon in our review of the game.
