We have been talking about Terminator 5 on this website for a long time ever since Terminator Salvation hit the screens. You may have followed our news, hype, ideas and opinions of what the next Terminator movie should be.
A total reboot was feared and it came true. It was a logical choice that the next Terminator movie could simply be called ‘Terminator’ as the first Terminator movie was called ‘The Terminator’ it was the obvious next step. We held off mentioning this a long while ago just in case the owners decided to change the name of the project to Terminator: ________ (fill the space) but now the official IMDb page for Terminator 5 has officially become ‘Terminator (2015)’.
We do not agree with the reboot or support it but we do approve of the title. So, from here on we will no longer refer to the project as Terminator 5 because it isn’t a continuation according to all the latest reports.
We have had numerous emails and messages from fans who are severely disappointed with the reboot. We have been requested to run polls, petitions and hardcore fans are even calling out for a boycott in aid of getting the script and project ditched in favor of a continuation.
If we thought it would help we would do it and we may run some polls and set up a petition but casting begins as early as next week and filming begins in a matter of months. Even if we did these things it’s too late and once these people set this stuff in motion there’s no going back!
The next Terminator movie will start a complete fresh, new actors will take over the roles made famous by Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn and the only current returning cast member will be Arnold Schwarzenegger. With such a gutting of the franchise we personally don’t even see the point of Arnold returning anymore and he was obviously willing to go along with this total overhaul so he can obtain another fat movie pay-check.
Not all Terminator Fans are fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger and now a divide has begun. Personally TheTerminatorFans.com will not be paying to see this movie. We are of the original fan base, we wanted a continuation and not a reboot because a reboot will not solve the numerous problems running amok in the franchise and with the addition of these latest casting news stories, well… it makes us sick to the stomach.
We have even been contemplating shutting this website down over the past few days or at least stop mentioning this project.
Fans waited since 1991 for a fitting continuation and now ‘Hollywood’ has ended the chance of that happening.
If we had a choice between Arnold Schwarzenegger returning or a true continuation we would choose to terminate Arnold from the project. Without James Cameron in place as director to beat his ass down all Arnold does is help destroy this franchise. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. He demanded one liners for T3 and look where that got us!

No Fate has no become No Faith. Shit director, shit writers and a bunch of eye candy kids as the cast. No thanks! Take your film and shove it in a real dark place… a place darker than the future war.

this movie is what made arnold and now evan the man himself is ruining it by agreeing to do this rubbish reboot im so dissapointed why wont hollywood lison to us WE WANT A FOLLOW ON NOT A REMAKE (HOLLYWOOD YOU JUST CANT GO ROUND REMAKEING MOVIES …WHY… WHAT DO YOU ME WHY BECAUSE YOU CANT…..WHY….
