Back in January we Exclusively reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be called ‘The Guardian’ in Terminator Genisys. Over time it looks like the title for the character has become simply ‘Guardian’ or referenced as the ‘Guardian’. For some reason we still prefer to call him THE GUARDIAN as it just makes sense to us seeing as it is the total opposite to THE TERMINATOR… even Arnold in the following video calls him ‘THE GUARDIAN’ but in the script the character is just listed as GUARDIAN.
Much like Terminator 2; Arnold is back in the surrogate father role but instead of being the stand-in father to a young boy it will be the story in reverse with Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), and should comically deal with issues such as her feelings and relationship with Jai Courtney’s Kyle Reese etc. Will Arnold be over protective and jealous of her closeness to Kyle… ? July will reveal all.
