Terminator Genisys Board Game ‘Rise of the Resistance’ and expansion ‘Fall of SkyNet’ launched on Kickstarter in Italy and funded in less than 24 hours! The game isn’t new but it is fully translated for Italian players, under leading Italian RPG game publisher Wyrd Edizioni.
The original English version of the game was published by River Horse and developed by Lynnvander Studios. A seven mission narrative leads up to the final goal of acquiring SkyNet’s ultimate weapon – the time displacement device.
Unlike the Italian fundraiser; Terminator Genisys: Rise of the Resistance failed to fund on Kickstarter the first time around (in 2018) but went up for pre-order regardless. The fundraiser geared at Italy had a much lower threshold, which has seemingly helped funding.
Sci-Fi and Fantasy artist Steve Argyle was responsible for the box artwork on the feature game and the expansion (below).
