A new french trailer / tv spot for Terminator: Dark Fate features new information about Schwarzenegger’s co-ordinate sending ‘Carl’ and more reinforcement to those pesky plot leaks. This information was featured in the Youtube video description; which we translated via Google.

“Nowadays in Mexico. Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), 21, works on an assembly line in a car factory. This one sees her life turned upside down when she suddenly finds herself confronted with 2 unknowns: on one side Gabriel (Gabriel Luna), a Terminator machine of the most evolved, indestructible and protean, a “Rev-9”, coming from the future for the kill; Grace (Mackenzie Davis), a genetically augmented super-soldier sent to protect her.

Embroidered in a breathtaking chase through the city, Dani and Grace owe their salvation only to the intervention of the formidable Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), who, with the help of a mysterious source, stalks the Terminators for decades. Determined to join this unknown ally in Texas, they set off, but the Terminator Rev-9 relentlessly pursues them, as do police, drones and border patrols …

The stakes are all the greater since saving Dani is saving the future of humanity.”

      Nothing new, I guess.
But, damn, I can sense this feeling of hopelessness for Dani. Losing her father and brother. Her words “I had this nice simple life and now it’s a nightmare” remind me of Sarah’s “He’ll find us, won’t he? It’ll never be over, will it?”
I love how hellish the future scenes and the Rev-9 look.

Another uninspiring movie that no one really needs or wants. Lack of creativity kills the cinema. And ignoring all previous T3s is just so lame. This movie should be (will be) a major disaster but I doubt it will be any lessons for the filmmakers.

I’d say this is a Rian Johnson troll account in itself, but I can’t even tell anymore. People are just stating the obvious of what they’re seeing at this point, bro. We all want the movie to succeed, we ARE fans, regardless of what -they- try to label us as…….but the desperation is beyond apparent now. They have essentially shown the entire film.

OBVIOUS SPOILERS FROM SHEER OBSERVATION PLUS LEAKS:

Uh, this basically shows Grace ripping open the hydro-electric generator at the dam (somehow killing herself) or sealing the Rev9 in it and then blowing her fuel cell in an attempt to destroy it, exactly as leaked/claimed. This clearly destroys the outer liquid carbon layer, pretty much making the endo now killable, which I suspect either Arnold, or God forbid, Sarah, obviously ends up taking out, at the cost of their own life (lives…? Please no). Arnold? Fine, he’ll be back — Sarah? No.

Sigh, I am a Terminator fan from day 1 (Cameron+Gale school of canon) and this is so disheartening. They have shown everything at this point…………….complete desperation is beyond obvious at this point. Question:

What do you fellow fans (and that’s what we ARE, no matter what bullshit shade they try to throw at us) think? I’d love to hear your comments. Where the hell do we even go from here? If this is indeed Tim Miller’s take on Terminator, and what HE “wanted to see as a diehard fan”, then I have no idea what fucked up reality he’s been living in. I mean, what? I don’t even…
