Scoop: Terminator Genisys Official Synopsis and Exclusive the ‘Guardian’ Report Confirmed

First of all- we are happy now to reveal to our followers the official plot synopsis for the movie which reduces confusion as to what this movie is about.

Another source close to the production of Terminator Genisys also confirmed/told TheTerminatorFans.com that Arnold’s Aged-Terminator character is listed in the script as the ‘Guardian’.

We have been running lots of Exclusive stories of late and it is great to hear confirmation that our reports are correct. We recently exclusively reported that crew working on the movie referred to Arnold’s Aged-Terminator character as the ‘Guardian’. Arnold Schwarzenegger will indeed be playing the ‘Guardian’ in Terminator Genisys.

Official Plot Synopsis for Terminator Genisys confirms the ‘Guardian’:

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character revealed.

“When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future…”

It looks like our story about the return of the iconic original 1984 ‘The Terminator’ Sunglasses is also correct. Gargoyles ANSI Classics (the model name) should be making an extremely welcome return in Terminator Genisys  and will be worn by at least one version of Arnold (young) in the movie in the period of the 1970s, possibly 1975- wearing; leather jacket, leather pants (boots will also be back) and he’ll carry a deadly weapon.

One new behind the scenes photo reveals Terminator Genisys producers and director Alan Taylor working on the movie.

We managed to obtain the official plot synopsis and this new unseen photo by an update of the official Terminator Genisys UK website. The website features a different design to the US website and the movie will have a release on July 3rd 2015. The UK website only offers a few images, most of which we have seen before- bar the one above and the new plot synopsis. We’ve already seen the motion poster and the released trailers but hopefully there’s more to come soon.

The UK website is much better than the US one, that does have to be said! The UK always handles releases well, obviously a reason to have premieres in London for all the big player/hit movies as Skydance will want to put the movie on the best footing for success with Terminator Genisys.

Oh and something we reported a long time ago… it looks like the Superbowl Trailer has revealed that this could be Schwarzenegger’s police cruiser that he drives in the movie….

The windscreen damage is exactly the same as in the trailer…

Compare the pictures… Protecting and serving the public trust will be on the agenda when the ‘Guardian’ appears on the big screen in July…
