Daniel Robichaud worked closely with James Cameron while working at James Cameron’s VFX company; Digital Domain, to bring the inside of SkyNet and the deadly gigantic spider ~Terminator T-Meg (T 1 million) to life for theme park visitors across the world in the highly successful ‘T2 3-D: Battle Across Time’.

    T2 3D Japan

In an upcoming interview with TheTerminatorFans.com when questioned about if he would be interested in working on creating a new 3D Terminator ride with Skydance/Paramount or Jim Cameron based on the new Terminator Trilogy (kicking off with Genisys)/ future reboots, Daniel responded with the following answer…

    “Certainly!”

Daniel Robichaud’s working relationship continued on with James Cameron into Titanic to direct animation once again. If they do make a new Terminator Ride this is the man to trust with creating an immersive Fully 3D experience for theme park visitors. After all- look at the success of T2-3D and Titanic!

    T2 3D

Terminator Salvation opted for a wooden coaster which totally failed to last years, never mind the decades T2-3D has been going. A great themepark attraction which immerses visitors could be exactly the right medicine Skydance and Paramount need to keep the Terminator pulse going even stronger.

This was sad news. Hopefully Cyberdyne Systems will return to Terminate the minions one day!

We would welcome a new 3D Terminator Attraction. A visual experience would be more powerful than a coaster. Something that adds to the franchise but will stand the test of time like T2-3D did…

T2-3D must have a home release before the final physical shutdown of the ride! Hopefully T2-3D has more fight left in it to stick around for a while longer.
