    Arnold Schwarzenegger is up for Terminator 5 but there is one other cyborg assassin we would like to return… Robert Patrick so we tweeted him to see if he is up for Terminator 5.

    We tweeted the following:

    @robertpatrickt2 Are you up for appearing in a 5th installment of the Terminator saga? We would love to interview you one day! T-1000 pwns!

    — The Terminator Fans (@terminatorfans) October 31, 2012

    Robert responded:

    @terminatorfans sure and sure

    — robert patrick (@robertpatrickT2) October 31, 2012

    So there you have it Robert Patrick is up for Terminator 5. McG wanted to bring him back in “his Terminator Salvation Sequel” as a scientist in a post apocalyptic setting (one of the only decent ideas McG had).

    So how would you have him return… human or machine? Annapurna Pictures need to use him correctly for ultimate effect.

    Mimetic Poly Alloy just got a lot more interesting!

    We do have ideas on how Robert can be the T-1000 again, if your interested to find out how he could become the shape-shifting T-1000 once again then read our article ‘Terminator: The Aging Process’.

      McG….no. I would love if we didn’t acknowledge the last Terminator film. To do it right, T-5 has to be what happened before the first Terminator. I want to see the first T-800 attack and then the finale; the assault on the Skynet Headquarters where Kyle Reese is sent back in time. But within the story, there is a solder ( played by Robert Patrick) who is eventually captured and used as the Model for the T-1000, which was finished at the last minute and sent through the time portal before it was dismantled ( in doing so, the time coordinates were off, which sent the T-1000 to 1995 instead of 84)

      Terminator should technically be part of a time loop… what your saying is you want a prequel to the first movie… but that would mean it’s a sequel to Salvation… the other option is a reboot which would ignore everything that came before or after. We agree it’s possible to ignore certain installments. It depends on the direction Annapurna takes.

      If you sent t1000 back at same time as reese wouldnt you have to send anothet arnie as well to get him and reprogrammed arnie aswel?

        admin, I always thought of Salvation as part of an altered time line, considering the bombs dropping was delayed, due to the interference or Reese and the T-800 sent to protect John. By delaying the activation of Skynet to whatever year it was in T3, they changed history. For instance, the first emergence of the T-800s.

        Gary, That is correct. I forgot about that. Arnie needed to be sent after. Perhaps when they realized that the T 1000 went through while they were dismantling the time portal, they had to fix it to send Arnie back to protect them. In the behind the scenes guide I got in one of the early DVD’s of T2, it said that a scene that was never shot was the attack on Skynet which led to them coming upon a cache of deactivated terminator units ( the arnies)

          We don’t like the tone or setting of T3 or Salvation and both are on an altered timeline but it doesn’t mean a sequel has to treat those 2 movies as gospel!

            Admin, wait….wouldn’t we be on the same page? I want a T 5 that is what Cameron would have had in mind. A movie following his storyline. I denounce McG’s movie, and to a lesser extent, T3.

              We are on the same page maybe you misread what we are talking about. We only mentioned McG in reference to a possible fraction of an idea of one of the many ways Robert Patrick could return in a movie in a setting of the first 2 movies… something we have been pushing since our disappointment in Terminator Salvation. We did mention the scientist idea is the only good idea he did have. No other credit goes to McG because he doesn’t deserve it. The rest of the ideas in the article and the ideas built upon the scientist ideas McG had are our ideas and not McG’s. We just wanted to share our ideas in the hope our opinions will be heard and can somehow influence the upcoming sequel in a positive way because to be frank James Cameron gave us all the middle finger a long time ago and he doesn’t want the future sequels to out-do his two T movies, so why would we care what he thinks?
