Exclusive: Terminator Genisys Crew Call Arnold’s Aged T-800 ‘The Guardian’

A source close to the production of Terminator Genisys has revealed that crew who work on the movie refer to Arnold’s older Terminator character as ‘The Guardian’.

We have run many Terminator Genisys stories on the website, one particular story we ran was claiming to be plot leaks on the internet (was obviously made up nonsense altering genuine leak information) in which Schwarzenegger was referred to as ‘The Watchman’. A red-herring perhaps… ?

Going on to support ‘The Guardian’ title for Arnold’s character…

The Terminator has recently been gaining the name ‘The Protector’ (in the fan community) as he really doesn’t do much terminating any more.

Hitfix announced that Schwarzenegger would play ‘The Guardian’ back when Schwarzenegger wrapped shooting the movie, we never even heard of the name and it seems this went unnoticed…

HitFix reported when Arnold wrapped shooting a while back:
“… and the mysterious new characters Schwarzenegger’s playing named “The Guardian”.

TheTerminatorFans.com source said crew call the older/aged Arnold ‘The Guardian’ and the Young CGI T-800 ‘Arnold’ as not to get confused when talking about sequences including the T-800 Vs T-800 battle.

Adding up the dots; it looks like Arnold is now ‘The Guardian’ but ‘The Terminator’ (CGI) is also in the movie.

It is unknown if the name ‘The Guardian’ will be used in the theatrical release, so you will have to watch Terminator Genisys to see if they call him ‘Pops’ or ‘The Guardian’.
