Some of you may have heard of six degress of seperation… or at least you may have heard of six degrees of Kevin Bacon; in which you try to connect everything back to Kevin Bacon in 6 moves or less… well some time ago we tried it with Doctor Who and Terminator and many other degrees of Termination. The quickest way to connect Terminator to Dr Who before now was to start with Anton Yelchin (Kyle Reese in Salvation) who starred in the ‘Fright Night’ (Remake) with David Tennant (one of the actors who played Dr Who)… well now it can be done in one move- because a Dr Who ‘Matt Smith’ will star in Terminator: Genesis or whatever they are going to name it.
Matt Smith will play a character close to John Connor.. we would take a guess that he could be playing the role of a Tech Com soldier, maybe science/tech/hacker. Maybe the fact Matt Smith has played a “time lord” could suggest a connection to time-travel or maybe that would be… too obvious, but maybe not. His role may be involving lots of technical narrative, explaining how things work to the audience through speeches to the resistance, after all, this is what Matt Smith does best.
