Miles Dyson’s son is all grown up and the character is the final lead role cast for Terminator: Genesis (2015).
Danny Dyson has appeared in Terminator comics in the past, he is also a good character to delve into… his character is stated to be a “Steve Jobs-type genius”, who figures heavily into the conclusion of the story and the character could have a bigger role in the 2 planned sequels.
Now will Danny be possibly responsible for continuing his fathers work and a be a co-creator of SkyNet or will he be against the machines or maybe he is on a revenge mission for the loss of his father Miles? Who knows but Danny Dyson is a welcome character to the project.
UPDATE – Deadline.com reports:

Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games) has officially been cast in the role. Earlier this week John Boyega (Attack the Block) was also trying for the role but Dayo was the final choice of the studio/casting.
