Our readers will remember that some time ago we started to throw ideas around the internet, ideas that could indeed save the Terminator franchise. We wanted Linda Hamilton back and so we came up with the idea that she hadn’t really died… she’d gone into hiding after faking her death to perhaps resurface in the future. Another idea was to bring Lance Henriksen back into the role of Detective Hal Vukovich as a wheel chair bound character who survived his encounter with the cop killer of 1984 but the main thing is the majority of people complained about Arnold’s age in reference to him being the Terminator again so we wrote an article back in November 2012 which some of you may have read called “Terminator: The Aging Process”.

    Terminator The Aging Process

That article looked at how it would be possible to do a continuation sequel, with the original leading cast. In our ideas we had Arnold as a rogue T-800 Unit that was time displaced back in time on a long mission that would involve him using up a chunk of that powercell that lasts 150 years.

Arnold has now gone on record stating:

“The way that the character is written, it’s a machine underneath,” he says. “It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages.”

“‘Terminator’ deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800, and then [there is] what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets ahold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie.”

So there you have it “Terminator: The Aging Process” has become a reality.

So can movie fan sites like these really influence movies… maybe it is becoming more possible with the internet and one thing is for sure studios barely ever listen to fans and that is one of the biggest problems to exist in this generation of popcorn movie trash. Let’s just hope this movie is good.

hmm… interesting. that sounds ok. but if they re-use footage from the previous movies it’ll be a cheap and lazy way out and lame.
