We desperately wanted Brad Fiedel back as no other composers have yet done his scores justice or bettered the music he made on the first two motion pictures. but it now been revealed by www.TerminatorMovie.com that Christophe Beck will be handling the motion score for Terminator Genisys.

    Terminator Genisys Credits

Christophe did the motion score for Tom Cruise’s Edge of Tomorrow and tons of other well known movies at the opposite end of the spectrum he composed music for Disney’s Frozen.

So far we have nothing negative to say and if this is Christophe’s music on the motion poster below; he is doing a good job re-iterating Brad Fiedel’s previous work but will the movie go for an orchestral sound or a synth world of Tech Noir hell that the mighty Brad Fiedel brought to our ears…  From listening to music tracks from ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ he does like to mix in synth/electrical style noises/effects that meld into his orchestral pieces. So it may work and should definitely be more Terminator in sound than other sequels which where void of Fiedel.

We have had difficulty with the past two motion scores because they abandoned Brad Fiedel’s style, vibe and the atmosphere he created for the dark world of the Terminator. Will Christophe be compared favorably to Brad Fiedel? We believe he will definitely be bringing us a more Fiedel style than Beltrami and Elfman. July 2015 will reveal all!

Hopefully he will bring back some of the old classic Brad Fiedel riffs and intertwine them with new pulse pounding scores.
