TERMINATOR: RESISTANCE ENHANCED in Certification For Next Gen Consoles?

Terminator Resistance Enahnced

Terminator Fans will surely be eager to have more information on an enhanced version of Terminator: Resistance which went into certification with the Australian government on 03 December 2020.
The game, based on the first two Terminator movies; The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, has been a huge hit with fans.

Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is on the way, but we hope it includes a patch for existing console users of the game (XBOX ONE and PS4) because if they don’t get a patch they could be hugely disappointed, and justifiably so…. If not, Reef and Teyon should upgrade customers on their respective console platforms.

PC gamers have already been experiencing new content for Terminator: Resistance via Steam and GOG.com

It is obviously very important at this stage that Terminator: Resistance Enhanced takes the game to the next generation of XBOX Series X and PS5; so it can continue to grow graphically, and with content, but we don’t see why the game (in its current state) – with Infiltrator Mode at least, can’t be patched for last gen as PS4 Pro and Xbox One X already ran an enhanced version of the game (graphically).
So here’s hoping that all fans will be catered for with this ‘ENHANCED’ edition.

The new patch will of course feature Infiltrator Mode, and also preparing the game to move forwards with a potential DLC 2 offering, which is really promising for Terminator Fans.

The information from the Australian Government Certification process is below.

The certification process can take time; an application can fail – which would require re-certification. Also, different countries / consoles require the same certification process; with different territories, and platforms, potentially having stricter regulations. This is definitely a sure fire sign things are moving forward – and hopefully there will be more information on that in the coming days / weeks.

The year of production is listed as 2021, which could be an indication of release.
