Terminator: Resistance Easter Egg Hunt

Terminator: Resistance Easter Eggs

When a few Terminator Fans contacted us about easter eggs they had found in Terminator: Resistance; we decided to go on a hunt.
The first time we played the new ‘Infiltrator Mode‘ we were more than happy to be playing as Franco Columbu, the original future war Terminator, a battle-damaged T-800 looking to deal with John Connor‘s Tech-Com / Resistance, but on our first playthrough we missed a few things… We got distracted by leaks, and we even delved into those files ourselves to have a look around – the leaks revealed surprises for the potential future of Terminator: Resistance and possible DLC content.

So, with the help of some fans, we decided to go back to the future war and have a good look around.

Watch the following video to go with us on the journey for the easter eggs (with some additional gameplay moments), or, alternatively, read on to see some easter eggs.

It is time, to crack some eggs!

Tech Noir:

Terminator Fan, Raúl HM, told us that he had found Tech-Noir in the game, accompanied by the Tahnee Cain and The Tryanglz song ‘Burnin’ In The Third Degree‘ and it really is the actual song – and damn is it a fine moment to experience for any The Terminator (1984) obsessive.

Sarah Connor:

Terminator Fan, Albert GG, discovered Linda Hamilton as the mighty Sarah Connor from the Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This graffiti of the mother of the future is a great nod to one of the most beloved characters of the Terminator franchise!

HK Centurion Schematics:

Terminator Fan, Alexander House, found a hidden room inside a warehouse that revealed schematics for a new Hunter Killer Unit. The HK Centurion was part of the recent leaks, but fans of Terminator in general will know about the unit as an unused concept from the opening scenes of Terminator 2: Judgment Day,- which was cut for budget and runtime reasons.
The idea that we could get a boss fight with this beast in a future DLC is indescribable.

If James Cameron makes another Terminator movie we’d like to see this happen…

Los Angeles River – Flood Channel / Canal:

It was the location of one of the most iconic chase sequences in the Terminator franchise, and it can be found in Terminator: Resistance. Also one of the mesh vehicle gates had been displaced; as if the T-800 had recently Winchester-blasted it open and slammed through it on the Harley Davidson Fat Boy.

CSI STEEL – (CALIFORNIA STEEL INDUSTRIES):

Terminator Fan, Tactical Gizmo gave us the heads up via Youtube that the steel foundary / steel works from the final scenes of Terminator 2: Judgment Day were in the game (to the north of the map).

ENDO ARM on Alter – SkyNet Worshipping Cult?

Terminator Fan, CliffuckingBooth told us about an Endo Arm that was present in the central area of the map. On finding the arm we discovered it appeared to be on an alter of worship; with conspiracy theory graffiti. We did a fuller investigation and ran a theory about this easter egg, which could point to potential future DLC story content update. Judgment Day was an inside job

Terminator: Resistance continues to heal wounds, and we want more DLC content and online functions, but we also know that good things come to those who wait and we are happily / patiently waiting.

Did you find any Terminator: Resistance easter eggs that we missed?
