As previously reported the Terminator (2019) shoot moved on to Pueblo Nuevo (Madrid), another street location dressed to look like the gritty streets of Mexico. It was reported that some residents of Madrid were becoming annoyed at Terminator (2019) filming in their area but as we can see the shoot is fluidly moving from location to location and the disruption for locals is nothing long-term at all and many people are actually enjoying a high profile movie like the new Terminator movie having a presence in the area. People are talking and coming down to see what is going on through word of mouth of the production and media reporting.

As we can see production designers have done a lot of set dressing like fruit/market stalls, Mexican news-stands featuring Mexican publications/magazines, shop front decoration, signage and much more to make the set as authentic as possible for viewers. Attention to detail is something we admire greatly and so far this movie is hitting the mark for the level of quality we expect, yes, we have only seen sets and actors but the look of everything, the wardrobe and the appearance of the actors are making us happy and we can see effort is going in to the production on a level we haven’t seen with the last few Terminator movies.

These motorcycles/mopeds seem to be a notable feature on set and could feature in the movie…
Mexico has a strong catholic tradition dating back through the centuries, so we can see a catholic shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe (the virgin mary) comparisons of John Connor and Jesus Christ/saviour of mankind will come to mind.
The original Terminator font also makes a cameo on a video rental shop front.
