New Terminator: Resistance Story DLC Details To Be Revealed In November

The Reef Entertainment and Teyon Games story expansion DLC for Terminator: Resistance was originally planned for a summer 2021 release but now a tweet has revealed that the New Terminator: Resistance DLC is definitely postponed for a Winter or early 2022 release.

TheTerminatorFans.com did have a very brief chat with Polish game developers Teyon in July and at that time they stated…

“Hi guys! We are finishing the translation for the DLC. The DLC is definitely coming.”

Another potential reason for slight delay is the fact that Teyon have undertaken work on another franchise and they will be developing a RoboCop game; with RoboCop rights owners hoping Teyon can do for them what they did for Terminator, by offering something which will be received well by the fans and goes some distance to mending the damage caused by sequels and reboots that didn’t hit the mark. Terminator: Resistance was definitely successful in doing that for Terminator.

Potential New Terminator: Resistance DLC Content (spoiler warning)

While we don’t know much about the narrative for the new story DLC content, we did find out about some of the content via a data miner back in November, 2020. We got to see some wip (work in progress) game models for Kyle Reese, Corporal Ferro (the female resistance soldier who was terminated in the future war of The Terminator 1984), the HK Centurion; the unused crab-like Hunter Killer concept by James Cameron, and Terminator Salvation‘s T-600. Also gaming environments and potential new features like multiplayer, VR and more.
Due to the fact this was all a work in progress, not all content may make it into the game but it was still fun to see what could be part of the new DLC.

Are you looking forward to playing the new DLC content for PC and PS5? Let us know what you are most excited about, or most hopeful to see make it into the final DLC, in the comments below.
