WATCH NOW: Terminator 2 3D Clips Will Blow The Terminator Fans Away?

Terminator 2 3D Judgment Day Clips

UPDATE: The legitimacy of these clips is in question due to the lack of the 5th clip which may or may not show Peter Kent’s face in the drainage canal (we know this has been digitally altered for the remaster to include Schwarzenegger’s imposed face) meaning the clips could just be high-res 1440k Blu-Ray rips, on research the 5th clip has been blocked on copyright grounds by STUDIOCANAL >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-wdSPxeYkE so we have no way to ascertain legitimacy. Fans and Blu-Ray buffs feel free to debunk the clips if necessary in the comments below.

It is a shame if deception has been used to feed off T23D’s release but hey, shit happens! STUDIOCANAL should pull the clips to confirm this for fans and in future should consider just uploading content in the 4k format to disallow any more confusion/deception to take place regarding T2-3D. Many Terminator 2: 3D Trailers have initially had 1080p/HD uploads which has in turn aided confusion of these clips but it is also understood not everyone has 4K standard technology/video cards.

If you did fall for these clips being the real deal it is testament to just how well T2 holds up even without a 4K remaster!

For those fans still waiting in dizzying anticipation to see the digital 4K remaster of Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D; now is the time to whet your appetite by watching these awesome T2-3D clips in 1080p. 4K is even higher in quality and the movie will look even better than you will witness in any of these clips!

The clips will evoke nostalgia for the right reasons, simply this is because T2 was a movie many of us enjoyed, seeing later Terminator movies reuse the same shots, scenes, gags and action but the choreography and camera angles lack any real impact because the first two Terminator movies created those impacts in an original way and simply did it better. We hope the future Terminator movies create new impact which resonates for generations to come and hopefully Terminator 6, 7 or 8 can hit the bullseye and still have people talking about it 26 years later- like the first two Terminator movies.

Now, obviously the Terminator 2 celebrations continue and a huge amount of franchise healing is taking place courtesy of T2 3D; we have a new Terminator movie in production to hopefully right the wrongs of the last few outings of the franchise and providing Terminator 2: 3D does well (which it surely has to- judging by the clips above) then we have the first movie to look forward to getting the remastered treatment, including Aliens and The Abyss… many fans (including us) will definitely hold James Cameron to those teased promises (dependent on the success of this release) and hopefully he will be more than happy to give us some excellent conversions to the awesome standard he has achieved with T2-3D!

If anyone can bring the Terminator franchise back from the brink it’s our savior John Connor… AHEM! sorry the other J.C. AKA Mr. James Cameron.
