The Terminator RPG by Nightfall Games launches on Thursday 11th March, 2021 at 18:00 GMT.
Nightfall Games teased the upcoming Kickstarter launch on social media with the following video and post.
The teaser video showcases artwork from the game, which features familiar faces, and new ones too. It also sneakily features a famous T-800 Cyberdyne Systems Model… We can definitely see Arnold Schwarzenegger’s CSM Model 101’s hiding in the second row of these Terminator Units (pictured below). We are very happy to see the inclusion of more and more Terminator model numbers… maybe SkyNet is finally getting smarter?
The game uses the S5S game system created by Nightfall Games, and the canon of The Terminator (1984) and all associated ‘The Terminator’ novels by Dark Horse Comics.

The Terminator RPG Book
‘The Terminator RPG’ will be a lavish 192-page hardcover book with full-colour illustrations throughout, giving you an engrossing study of the expanded world of ‘The Terminator’.
Nightfall Games
Much of the writing is now in the editing stage. Dynamic design and page layout has already started. The book includes a detailed overview of the future war, the history of the key characters, the game rules and stats, a hardware section (including a novel system to ensure only appropriate weapons and hardware are included at a particular time point). Other chapters will include character creation, a Director’s Guide, and pre-constructed missions including NPCs and Terminator variants.
