Texas Frightmare Weekend 2014 and Terminator Stars

frightmare weekend texas

From May 2nd to 4th; Texas Frightmare Weekend will be going on in Dallas. There will be some Terminator stars this year for all of you Terminator fans. This is since it’s the 30th Anniversary Reunion.

Thomas Dekker will be making an appearance. Dekker is famous in Terminator fans’ eyes for playing John Connor in the short lived Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. His version of John was a teenager growing into the role of a leader. If there had been a Season 3 even greater character development would have gone on.

Michael Biehn will also be there. He is the original, and to some only, Kyle Reese. Kyle was John’s father who was sent back in time to protect Sarah Connor. Biehn has also been in the movie Aliens where he played Corporal Dwayne Hicks.

Earl Boen will also be appearing. Boen played Dr. Peter Silberman who was a criminal psychologist in the first three films. He was the one to diagnose Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor as crazy, long story short. In the third movie he made a brief appearance and talked with Katherine Brewster.

Jenette Goldstein will also be dropping by. Goldstein played the character of Janelle Voight who was John Connor’s foster mother in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In the film she was killed by the T-1000 and tried to lure John back home.

Linda Hamilton, the original Sarah Connor, will also be there. She was in the first two Terminator movies and her voice made an appearance in Terminator Salvation. She made the character of Sarah truly come to life. Though, at least to me, the character didn’t become remarkable until Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Stuntman Peter Kent will be making an appearance also. He was the stuntman for Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator and T2:JD.

Kristanna Loken will also be there. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines isn’t received well by most fans, but I like it. Plus Loken does a great job in the role she’s given as the TX whose mission it is to hunt down both Katherine Brewster and john Connor, plus make sure Judgment Day happens. Loken played a very deadly machine.

Robert Patrick, the ultimate Terminator, is the final person from the Terminator franchise that will be stopping by. Robert is famous for playing the T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. As you can gather, I adore this Terminator and Patrick’s performance.

So if you’re close by during those days, I’d recommend you stop by.
