Terminator Genisys VR: Time Machines

Terminator Genisys VR Time Machines

Terminator Genisys is more unrelenting as a brand than Arnold Schwarzenegger has ever been as The Terminator. It just won’t stop, EVER until you’ve been imprisoned in a VR war between man and machine on the Terminator Genisys timeline.
We reported a while back that a new Terminator VR game could be in the works and presumed it would be a Terminator (2019) VR game to coincide with the movie but it looks like it is a Terminator Genisys VR game; obviously if this game is successful or if it shows great potential then a Terminator (2019) game could be likely to follow.

Keep reading to find out how you can take the battle to SkyNet as a few Terminator Genisys fans are going to be selected for a beta test at a secret location.

THE TERMINATOR GENISYS UNIVERSE COMES TO LIFE IN UNPRECEDENTED MULTI-SENSORY VR JOURNEYS BROUGHT TO YOU BY SPACES

Join the Resistance, Infiltrate Skynet, Destroy Terminators, and Save Humanity in Theme Park Style Adventure Based on Skydance Media’s Terminator Franchise

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (June 7, 2018) — Prepare to enter the world of Terminator in an immersive, location-based, VR adventure unlike anything anyone has experienced before.

Secretly in development for months, the visionary team at SPACES announced their first U.S.based attraction today. In the most immersive VR attraction ever developed, teams of guests will help save humanity from an insidious villain of mankind’s own making: Skynet – moving through the world around them, feeling the thunderous explosions, the rush of wind from airships, and the thrill of ultimate victory.

“SPACES has been delivering immersive VR experiences for years,“ notes Chris Hewish, EVP Interactive for Skydance Media. “When we experienced how they brought the Terminator world to life with their unique brand of multi-sensory VR, we knew this was something that would blow people’s minds. Now fans won’t just watch a story unfold in front of them, they will participate in one.”

This thrilling sci-fi adventure is the most advanced yet in the location-based VR market, a rapidly growing industry projected to reach more than $12 Billion by 2023 according to Greenlight Insights. Fans won’t have to wait long to take the fight to the machines as SPACES is preparing to announce locations around the world, but for a select few it gets even better. A small number of eager fans will have the chance to receive an exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek inside the Terminator universe, physically entering the world of the movie at an “undisclosed”, secret SPACES location.

“After developing and perfecting the Terminator VR experience, we can’t wait to share this with the world,” says Shiraz Akmal, SPACES’ CEO. “We build SPACES attractions to be limitless, fantastical experiences, allowing people to Go Anywhere Do Anything™. We’re going to issue a small number of special invitations to registered fans across the globe to ‘join the resistance’.”
