We previously ran an image we found on twitter posted by The Iron Arnold. These images come from the Free Schwarzenegger Forum where fans who are lucky enough to live near or were present while filming was taking place in New Orleans.
Terminator: Genesis (2015) is currently filming in New Orleans but locations will be made to look like LA. From the look of the set images it also seems like they will be making efforts to change the appearance of some sets to look like the 80’s… 1984 LA anyone?
The scenes so far involve armored trucks, exploding police cars. We have previously discussed that we think there will be 3 time periods, past, present and future (1984 – confirmed, the now confirmed 2017 and a future war setting).
It has been mentioned that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been spotted in New Orleans, imthegame19 reports that Arnold has been spotted in the building where he works. On April 27th Arnold was at The Arnold Classic and also stated he was in New Orleans that week filming the new Terminator movie.
If they are focusing on scenes from 1984 then it is likely that the young T-800 Aaron Williamson who we spoke to briefly about his role as a T-800 in the movie has more scenes to do than Arnold himself at this moment in time. It has not been established if Aaron Williamson will play a young Schwarzenegger with CGI face or a T-800 with a different CSM Number (Cyberdyne Systems Model – this explains the external look of the infiltrator unit).
