While Terminator: Dark Fate doesn’t feature a Director’s Cut of the movie, it does have some deleted/extended scenes featured on the digital/home release. These scenes don’t change the movie or enhance the story but fans of Dark Fate will appreciate them.
AUGMENTATION VOLUNTEER
Grace, heavily injured by a REV-7, volunteers (to medical personnel) to join the augment program.
ALICIA CONFRONTS SARAH
In this scene the wife (Alicia) of the T-800 (Carl) that killed Sarah Connor’s son (John Connor) shares her feelings on Carl being a machine which has discovered its own humanity and is self-aware. It is explained that Carl is uneasy and guilty with his programmed actions from the SkyNet future he was sent from. Alicia ends the conversation by encouraging Sarah to bring Carl home after making things right with her.

THE CROSSING
In this deleted scene we see more of the struggle for the characters to cross the border and how the REV-9 is coordinating the attack from a distance. In a call back to Terminator 2 Dani says she doesn’t want anyone else to die because of her and Grace agrees to only do leg shots. Tim Miller has spoke about removing these scenes as the creative team decided they were “too MacGyver”.

I NEED YOUR CAR
After Grace takes Sarah Connor’s Jeep, Sarah Connor commandeers a civilian’s vehicle in order to pursue Grace and Dani after the encounter with REV-9 on the highway/bridge. The vehicle is a nod to a classic Terminator vehicle.
